Yet another rumor is spreading regarding Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. This time, NW magazine (via Gossip Cop) took the angle of the “Troy” actor’s custody case with his ex-partner Angelina Jolie.
As the publication would have it, Jennifer Aniston is supposedly going to be a character witness for Brad Pitt to attest that the actor is a dedicated and responsible father. This angle is a complete fabrication and doesn’t make sense to boot.
For starters, it’s already a well-known fact that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston haven’t spoken to each other after they split 13 years ago. They haven’t even been in the same room together let alone decide they’ll team up to make sure the “World War Z” star will get full custody of his children.
Another obvious detail that NW missed or decided to omit is the fact that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston don’t have any children together. As this is the case, the “Friends” alum doesn’t have any firsthand knowledge of the “Meet Joe Black” actor’s capacity of being a parent.
Gossip publications are pushing this narrative forward as Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston aren’t seeing anyone at the moment. Aside from the “Fury” actor's involvement in a custody case with Angelina Jolie, he’s also in the middle of a divorce proceeding with his ex-partner that will make their separation official. Meanwhile, the “We’re the Millers” actress recently broke up with her now ex-partner Justin Theroux but clarified they’re still on good terms despite their decision to part ways.
Another point that NW completely missed is the fact that Jennifer Aniston is busy filming her Netflix movie “Murder Mystery.” Brad Pitt’s ex-wife is shooting in Italy at the moment, which makes it impossible for Aniston to attend any court hearings in the U.S.
So any news about Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston being involved in some ways – whether making new movies or rekindling their past romance – is likely a false narrative published by gossip columns. The two have simply grown apart from each other and they’re too busy with the pace of their own lives to involve themselves in complicated situations that publications are purporting.
