Brad Pitt wants to get back the home he shared with Jennifer Aniston when they were still married so when it was put up for sale, the actor reportedly made an offer to purchase it again. “The Fury” star was said to have offered US$79 million to buy his and ex-wife’s old residence in Beverly Hills.
Based on the report that was published by New Idea, the Beverly Hills estate that Brad and Jennifer once owned has been put back on the market, and after learning about this, the former expressed his intention to buy it back and after supposedly rekindling their romance.
“After they get married, Brad wants to make a gesture to Jen that would go beyond her wildest dreams, so when their old home came up for sale, he knew that would be the purchase to make all her dreams come true,” the insider told the magazine.
The source further revealed, “When Brad and Jen split, she said losing their dream home worsened the heartache of their divorce and it was one of her biggest regrets not buying Brad out.” The tipster added that the “Friends” actress started feeling nostalgic about the home when she and ex-husband reunited early this year.
Now, Jennifer Aniston was said to have learned about Brad Pitt’s gesture of getting back their house, and the former allegedly cried and in shock. What’s more, the pair are said to be getting married for the second time in July, and it will take place in Mexico. After the wedding, they will go back to their old home and start to build new memories as per the claims.
Gossip Cop checked the facts in the New Idea article and quickly dismissed the report after confirming it was a bogus story. Firstly, Brad clearly cannot get married at this time due to his ongoing divorce case. Secondly, Brad and Jen have not reconciled, and their reps have said this many times already.
The truth is, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are friends now, but they are not dating. They do not even see each other except when the former attended the actress’ 50th birthday in February.
