Briferendum Series: Obama improves the polls in favor of stay

Latest series of Polls reveal Barrack Obama was successful in persuading British voters to stay within EU. After this weekend’s speech by U.S. President Barrack Obama, urging voters to stay in European Union as it amplifies Britain’s role across globe, “Stay” campaign is now leading with 7%, on an average over exit backers in various polls. In some polls lead was of around 10%. Still according to the average about 13% people are still undecided, who could make big difference on the D-day.

Obama’s remark that Britain will have to stay in queue for a trade deal done, because priority would be given to larger bloc gained lots of attention, along with recent research findings, which suggests that FDI flows would drop. Obama also portrayed Britain as a guide in European Union, making it relevant to the happenings in global stage from terrorism to aggression of China and Russia.

After weekend’s support from Obama, Pound has been gaining most of its major trading partners. This week it is up more than a percent against Dollar, already and 0.5% against Euro.
