“Bull” season 3 episode 4 is going to be a meaningful yet bitter installment. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) and the rest of the Trial Analysis Corporation (TAC) might be working on a case about Cable’s (Annabelle Anastasio) death.

“Bull” season 3 episode 4 is titled “Justice for Cable.” So even though no official synopsis or trailer has been released yet as of this writing, it is quite obvious that next week is going to be all about the death of Cable.

It is interesting that TAC will be working on finding justice for Cable despite the announced cause of her death in the season premiere. She was one of the drivers who died in their cars as the bridge they were driving on collapsed. But showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron previously told TVLine that Cable’s death is actually the “beginning of [a] mystery.” And it appears that more interesting details will be uncovered in “Bull” season 3 episode 4.

Caron did not give much information about the upcoming storyline linked to Cable's death. But it looks like Cable’s mother will pave the way to more details on this "mystery." The grieving mom, portrayed by guest star Jill Hennessy, is most likely going to seek Jason's help in “Bull” season 3 episode 4.

While Hennessy’s gig on the show is for a guest role, she is confirmed to star in an arc lasting for more than one episode. In Caron’s interview with TV Insider, it was mentioned that Cable's mom will give Jason a case that “rattles him more emotionally than anything before.” Presuming that it is about Cable’s death, it is possible that the hacker’s death was not a mere accident. At the time season 3 premiered, Caron promised that this emotional case will unfold in “Bull” season 3 episode 4.

Annabelle Anastasio’s exit was confirmed months before “Bull” season 3 episode 4 comes out, on Monday, Oct. 15, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS. The actress explained to Deadline in July, “I have been given the opportunity to direct my first feature film … Sadly, the film conflicts with my role as Cable on ‘Bull.’ CBS and the show’s producers have graciously allowed me to leave the series so I can pursue this extraordinary opportunity.”
