Burger King ignites a summer flavor adventure with the launch of two new tantalizing menu items—Fiery Nuggets and Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango—originally available in Denver and Miami stores.
Burger King is set to release its New Fiery Nuggets, which offers a spicy twist to McDonald’s favorite menu. The fast-food chain is also adding a frozen drink called the Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango that promises to help customers in beating the heat of summer.
While these are menu items that every Burger King fan should be excited about, not everyone may be able to taste them at launch. According to USA Today, the restaurant is initially selling the new Fiery Nuggets and Fanta frozen drink in Denver and Miami stores starting this week.
The new products will then be released across the country on June 19 and will be in stores until Aug. 17 only. The burger joint said it decided to drop the new offering in the two states first to “honor Miami's love of ‘heat’ and Denver's passion for ‘nuggets.’"
As its name suggests, the Burger King Fiery Nuggets is spicy, and so the Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango is a perfect complementary drink. The beverage is only $1, and the nuggets are served in an 8-piece box. BK said that on July 26, which is predicted to be the hottest day of the year, members of its Royal Perks program may get a free small Frozen Fanta.
“Heat is definitely having a moment, so this felt like the perfect time to introduce the Fiery Nuggets with the spicy glaze we know our Guests love,” Burger King North America’s senior director of culinary innovation and sustainability, Chad Brauze, said in a press release. “Glazed with Cayenne peppers, Birds Eye chili and Black pepper, the new nuggets provide the perfect combination of flavor and spice.”
Fanta North America’s senior brand manager, Dane Callis, added, “The Fiery Nuggets needed an equally tasty companion, so we’re excited to introduce this limited-edition Frozen Fanta flavor exclusively at Burger King restaurants that simultaneously cools and kicks up the heat.”
