“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” is almost out and whether gamers like it or not, it’s going to come with the re-mastered edition of the award-winning “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” title. Aside from the astonishing graphical improvements, it would seem that the game also comes with some new cheats and achievements. However, before fans of the title rejoice, it’s worth noting that the two games might eat up 130GB of storage space combined.
The news about the humungous size of the packaged “COD” title comes from a fan site of the franchise called Charlieintel. The 130GB is with both “Infinite Warfare” and “Modern Warfare Re-mastered” installed, which will likely be a problem for those who are getting digital copies. As for why the size is so big, the reason brought up has to do with “Infinite Warfare’s” 4K capability.
Barring the substantial storage space required to run both games, it would seem that gamers still have a lot to look forward to with the re-mastered “Modern Warfare” title. These include the four new cheats that players will get to mess around with once they have collected enough intel to unlock them.
One of these cheats involves making the enemies wear watermelons on their heads, Kotaku reports. The other three include new filters, improved ragdoll effects, and replacing all enemies with Victor Zakaev.
Finally, it would seem that players will be able to put a stop to the events that led to World War III in the subsequent “Modern Warfare” games and gain the “Time Paradox” achievement. During the mission called “One Shot, One Kill” where Captain Price has to snipe Imran Zakhaev, series villain Vladimir Makarov and former bad guy Yuri are also in the area, Eurogamer reports.
If players shoot Zakhaev, then proceed to kill Makarov and Yuri, they would make it so that the events in the game would never happen. This is where the time paradox comes in.
