With the new “Call of Duty Mobile” season underway, there’s a ton of new content that will introduce new goodies to the game such as a new map and character. However, players who love its zombies mode better play the game to their hearts’ content as it will be removed very soon.
Zombies mode removal
Gamers have been enjoying the “Call of Duty Mobile” Zombies mode for a couple of months now. However, developer Timi Studios just announced that it will be removing the feature from the game soon on March 25.
“We had always mentioned it was limited but with no explicit end-date,” Timi Studios wrote in a community update, Engadget reported. “We wanted to see the reception, see the feedback, and see how we can potentially shape the mode for the future. However, the mode just didn't reach the level of quality that we desire.”
But fret not. There is still a chance that the mode will be coming back to the game. “We may bring the mode back, with Nacht Der Untoten, once we can make sure it is high enough quality, but for now we’ll focus on development for Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Ranked Mode,” Timi Studios added.
New characters
While the Zombies mode might have been removed, exciting new features have been added to the game as well. One of these is the new character John "Soap" MacTavish, according to GameSpot. He should be familiar to long-time fans of the franchise as he first appeared in the 2007 title “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” as its main playable character.
Aside from Soap, another character has made her way into the “CoD Mobile.” Her name is Urban Tracker and is the first female operating in a Battle Pass, Timi Studios said in an update posted on Reddit.
New multi-player map
“Call of Duty Mobile” just introduced its first original map. Called Cage, it’s a close-quarters three-lane battlefield set within a construction. The map is ideal for fast-paced close-quarter engagements.
New weapons
Of course, a new “CoD Mobile” season should also have a new set of weapon. This time, players can get their hands on the “RUS-79U Viking, the Brambles series of weapons and gear, the MacTavish series of weapons and gear.”
