The CardLinx Association, whose members includes the likes of Microsoft, AirBnB, Facebook and others, is going to hold Asia Mobile Commerce and Card-Linking Forum on 07 February 2017 in Tokyo.
“CardLinx Association members collaborate to establish industry standards for mobile payments, in-store offers, card-linking and many other technologies that comprise the Internet of Commerce Things (IoCT)”, the website reads.
The forum will provide a platform to meet and collaborate with the leading companies from Japan, South Korea and China that are leading the re-invention of digital commerce using card-linking in Tokyo.
According to the official website, the companies attending the event so far include MasterCard, MUFG, Rakuten, Samsung Card, Facebook, UCB, Microsoft, and Sumitomo Mitsui Card.
Ken Kubo, President, Sumitomo Mitsui Card; Doo Lee Joseph, Chief Marketing Officer, Samsung Card; Nandan Mer, President, Mastercard Japan; Ken Hirschman, General Manager In-store Offers, Rakuten/ Ebates; Ryota Chiba, Corporate Officer, General Manager of Communication & Information Center Information Innovation Operations, DNP; and Cassie Boutelle, VP Loyalty Products, Global Retail Payments, FIS, have been listed as forum speakers.
For CardLinx Member companies, passes to conferences hosted by CardLinx are usually included in their annual membership fee. For non-member companies, registration fee applies – registration 30 days before the conference or earlier, an Early Bird rate of $750 per registrant applies, while the full registration fee is $1,000 and applies to all registrations received within 30 days of the conference date.
