ChangeTip, a San Francisco-based bitcoin tipping service start-up, has collaborated with video streaming platform Twitch.tv, which will enable users to contribute bitcoin tips. Twitch started accepting bitcoins for its turbo subscription in August last year, and subsequently announced the acceptance of dogecoin payments in October.
As a part of the deal, ChangeTip will give $10,000 in bitcoin to important Twitch users to boost tipping among their respective followers.
"We are excited to see development work like this come from our community. Our API enables community members to craft the tools they want to see in use. This bot allows fans to connect with their favorite players in a new way", said CEO Nick Sullivan.
The announcement is the latest high-profile integration for the start-up. It has already integrated with Facebook, YouTube and other platforms over the past few months.
