Mizuno released a trio of sneakers dubbed the “Fisherman Pack.” which commemorates the fishing towns of Japan via an oceanic palette and trawling-inspired details.
Dubbed Mizuno’s ultimate drop of 2022, the collection takes inspiration from the natural scenery and tranquility of Japanese fishing towns while paying homage to water and its ever-changing form.
Ocean blue hues dominate the overall color scheme, with accents of cream, light brown, and silver. Subtle fish graphics, wide-set mesh netting accents, and superior nylon and thick suede are all present throughout the collection.
The Wave Prophecy LS, the series' flagship model, is a high-end runner that blends AIRmesh breathability with the brand's revolutionary Infinity Wave midsole. It provides maximum performance, adaptability, and comfort.
Next is the Wave Rider 10, which was originally introduced in 2007 to commemorate the Wave Rider's tenth anniversary. The thermoplastic Wave Tech inserts in the retro-style neutral runner provide a cushioned yet sensitive foot feeling.
The Wave Mujin TL, which bears the initials of designer Tuan Lee, who created the sixth iteration of the runner, completes the trio. The multi-layered sneaker has wave-split midsoles, extra-grippy Michelin outsoles, and hiking-style straps.
The prices for Mizuno’s “Fisherman Pack” sneakers ranger from $168 to $270.
