COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 06, 2017 -- Cherwell Software, LLC, a global leader in IT and enterprise service management solutions, announced that Scott Gainey has been appointed chief marketing officer (CMO). Gainey will report directly to Cherwell Software’s CEO, Craig Harper.

Gainey has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software, driving disruptive technologies in the marketplace. Specifically, Gainey has experience in security, with Palo Alto Networks; networking, with Cisco; and data protection, with Veritas Software and NetApp.
With IT spending expected to reach the $3.5 trillion mark this year, according to Gartner’s July 2017 worldwide forecast, new enterprise software applications—many of which are SaaS-based—are fueling the adoption of new IT management tools to remove complexity and streamline business operations. Gainey will help position Cherwell as a trusted, strategic partner to enterprises looking to simplify and streamline the management of disparate functions, empowering IT to continue driving innovation in the enterprise.
