COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 06, 2017 -- Cherwell Software, LLC, a global leader in IT and enterprise service management solutions, announced that Scott Gainey has been appointed chief marketing officer (CMO). Gainey will report directly to Cherwell Software’s CEO, Craig Harper.
“We’re thrilled to have Scott join our team,” said Craig Harper, CEO of Cherwell. “He brings extraordinary business experience to Cherwell Software, and is recognized as one of the top marketers in the field, having developed growth strategies and built brands for some of the world’s most successful technology companies. We have no doubt his expertise and enthusiasm will elevate the Cherwell brand and stimulate increased demand and revenue growth for our enterprise service management solutions.”

With IT spending expected to reach the $3.5 trillion mark this year, according to Gartner’s July 2017 worldwide forecast, new enterprise software applications—many of which are SaaS-based—are fueling the adoption of new IT management tools to remove complexity and streamline business operations. Gainey will help position Cherwell as a trusted, strategic partner to enterprises looking to simplify and streamline the management of disparate functions, empowering IT to continue driving innovation in the enterprise.
“Cherwell has already established a strong leadership position within the enterprise service management market,” said Gainey. This strength is rooted in Cherwell Software’s unwavering commitment to its customers and dedication towards driving profound business results that empower IT to lead.
