‘Chicago Med’ season 2’s episode 12, titled “Mirror, Mirror,” is set to focus on Dr. Choi’s attempts to work on a teenage patient admitted for severe distress. Meanwhile, Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) and Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) attempt to treat another teenager who’s rapidly changing symptoms leaves the rest of the staff confused.
The synopsis for “Mirror, Mirror” posted on TV Guide reads, “A teen girl is treated, but her rapidly changing symptoms puzzle the staff. Also: A teen tough guy arrives in severe distress and the situation quickly turns dangerous; a camera crew follows a doctor for a video promoting the hospital; and Dr. Latham (guest star Ato Essandoh) makes a big admission.”
Episode 12 is set to follow Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) and Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) as they move to treat a teenage patient with a rapidly changing set of symptoms that leaves hospital staff confused.
Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) and medical student Jeff Clarke (guest star Jeff Hephner) also help a tough teenager admitted to the hospital in severe distress. Dr. Reese (Rachel DiPillo) assists the two after the cause of pain is established and things immediately turn dangerous.
In the promo for “Mirror, Mirror,” it is revealed through an x-ray that the cause of the teen’s pain is a handgun stuck inside his body. Chief Administrator Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) then realizes that they must secure a warrant in order to have the gun removed.
To make matters worse, the impending surgery to save the patient’s life could jeopardize him as well as the doctors’. The promotional photographs posted on Spoilers Guide showed the medical team donning bullet proof vests in preparation for the risky surgery.
Meanwhile, Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) may encounter some difficulty while working on a case especially since Dr. Stohl (guest star Eddie Jemison) has a camera crew following him around for the hospital’s promotional video.
Elsewhere, Dr. Latham (guest star Ato Essandoh) is set to make a big admission to Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell).
‘Chicago Med’ season 2’s episode 12, titled “Mirror, Mirror,” is scheduled to air on February 2, 2017 on NBC. It will be followed by episode 13, titled "Theseus' Ship," scheduled for February 9.
