‘Chicago Med’ season 2’s episode 19, titled “Ctrl Alt,” will feature some trouble at the Gaffney Medical center when an unknown hacker creates trouble for the hospital’s computer system until the ransom is paid. Meanwhile, each staff member will have some personal problems to deal with.
The synopsis for “Ctrl Alt” posted on TV Guide reads, “Chaos ensues when the hospital computer system is hacked by an unknown source demanding a ransom payment.
Also, Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) receives an unexpected visit from her ex-husband and his girlfriend; Choi (Brian Tee) and Noah (Roland Buck III) must locate a bullet inside a patient; Sarah (Rachel DiPillo) feels she's being pushed out; and Robin's (Mekia Cox) odd behavior creates drama.”
An unknown hacker is set to create some trouble for the hospital’s computer system. Unless a ransom payment is made, hospital operations may be forced to come to a halt, according to International Business Times. It will be interesting to see if the hospital administration will cave and end up paying the hefty amount or if police authorities will manage to track down the perpetrator in time.
Meanwhile, each member of the staff at the Gaffney Medical Center will also be dealing with their own respective problems in the upcoming episode. Chief of Services Sharon Goodwin will be receiving unexpected guests in the form of her ex-husband Bert (Greg Alan Williams) and his girlfriend (Garcelle Beauvais). Goodwin may have to push herself further so as not to let her personal issues affect her efforts in keeping hospital operations effective following the hacking event.
Ethan and Noah will also have to rely on their medical knowledge and knowledge as well as experience in the Navy to locate a bullet lodged inside a patient after he is wheeled into the emergency department after being shot. Sarah, on the other hand, will feel that Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) may be deliberately trying to push her out while Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) will worry about Robin’s unusual behavior.
‘Chicago Med’ season 2’s episode 19, titled “Ctrl Alt,” is scheduled to air on NBC on April 6, 2017. It will be followed by episode 20, titled "Generation Gap," scheduled to be released on April 13.
