NEW YORK, Jan. 6, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fractional CMO leader Chief Outsiders has further expanded its Northeast Tribe in the new year, announcing the addition of mid-size company growth expert John Bischoff to the organization. Bischoff, a national and international marketing executive with an accomplished career that spans a comprehensive portfolio of industries, is ready to offer powerful yet sustainable growth solutions to today's mid-sized company CEO.
With core expertise in the development, implementation, measurement, and monitoring of specific marketing and sales initiatives to achieve targeted company goals, Bischoff is an excellent asset to company executives seeking clarity about how to maximize growth potential within a company's existing infrastructure and resources. Furthermore, Bischoff is adept at identifying improvement areas and introducing additional opportunities for companies looking to diversify or expand within, or beyond, their core markets.
"John is an excellent addition to the Northeast tribe, with an unmatched combination of proven experience, and insightful, future-forward leadership in a variety of industries, both domestically and internationally," said Slade Kobran, managing partner for Chief Outsiders' Northeast region. "With his track record, John is ideally suited to help mid-size company CEOs transition their visions to reality – partnering with them to help identify needed organizational change in order to stimulate profitable growth."
All Chief Outsiders tribe members have held the position of CMO or VP of Marketing at one or more operating companies. Bischoff's impressive track record in industries that include cable television, security, and travel and tourism are evidence of his ability to contribute from day one, working to provide simplified, strategic solutions to complex marketing challenges.
Bischoff began his career in the accelerated management programs of New York Telephone and AT &T, quickly developing his knack for strategic planning and marketing. Other assignments that expanded Bischoff's strategic footprint included turns as Chief Executive Officer of the BISCH Group, Vice President of International Brand Strategy for the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, and Chief Marketing Officer for St. Moritz Security Services.
At St. Moritz, Bischoff led a remarketing and rebranding strategy that included sales initiatives – delivering a dynamic plan that helped accelerate the company's growth past its $50M annual revenue goal. During Bischoff's tenure, St. Moritz received national ranking among the nation's top 20 leading security enterprises. While with the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Bischoff's international brand strategy resulted in unprecedented increases in visitors from outside the United States – a feat which contributed hundreds of millions of incremental dollars to the local economy.
Bischoff earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, NY, and an MBA in International Marketing and Finance from Fordham University. He also holds an Executive Certification in Computer Technology from NYU. Bischoff is available immediately to serve CEOs looking for growth acceleration guidance.
About Chief Outsiders
Chief Outsiders, LLC, an "Executives-as-a-Service" firm, helps grow mid-sized companies from coast-to-coast with nearly 50 part-time, or fractional, Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) who have held positions of VP Marketing or higher at one or more operating companies. These individuals' breadth of experience makes it possible for Chief Outsiders to put the right skill set on a leadership team of any company for a fraction of the cost of a full time executive. Unlike other strategic marketing and management consulting firms, Chief Outsiders works with company leadership teams to develop and implement market based growth plans. Chief Outsiders believes delivering a world-class marketing strategy on its own creates little value and that the real value is created by helping the organization implement the growth vision.
Because of its market based growth plans, leadership and experienced team, Chief Outsiders was recently listed by Inc Magazine as one of the 1,000 fastest growing privately held companies in the US (in the top 25 in Houston) and recognized for the Houston Business Journal's Fast 100. Businesses seeking Chief Outsiders as a premier source include: ErgoGenesis, Five Stone Tax, Summa Technologies, and Riverside Company portfolio companies OnCourse Learning, YourMembership and IDoc, Source Capital portfolio companies such as Abutec, and Merrill Lynch Specialties Group portfolio companies such as EarthColor.
