Chris Pratt and Anna Faris were recently spotted taking a walk together along with their son, Jack, in Santa Monica, California. The ex-couple decided to part ways last year, but they remained friends after the split, co-parenting their son successfully.
Of course, when photos Chris Pratt and Anna Faris emerged, gossip publications couldn’t help themselves and started speculating that the duo might be rekindling their past romance. However, this isn’t the case at all and there is concrete evidence debunking these claims, Gossip Cop reported.
One is that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are dating other people at the moment. The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor is currently involved with Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Meanwhile, Anna Faris has been seeing cinematographer Michael Barrett since November, which stirred quite the controversy at the time given how quickly the “Scary Movie” alum moved on from her eight-year of marriage.
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris decided to part ways when the former became a megastar and started landing leading roles in popular films. While the “Jurassic World” actor was already known in the industry following the success of the series “Parks and Recreation,” he was still operating relatively under the radar compared to other actors.
However, since Chris Pratt was handed the role of “Starlord,” the actor turned from the adorable Andy Dwyer to the scorching outlaw leading the misfits of “Guardians of the Galaxy.” According to Anna Faris, Pratt’s rise to stardom took a toll on their relationship, particularly after the release of the movie “Passengers,” where his ex-partner starred with Jennifer Lawrence.
"I didn’t think it would bother me … But then, when it actually started and magazines began running rumors, it was totally hurtful,” Anna Faris said. But despite all this, Faris and Chris Pratt remained close friends, parting ways amicably and even speaking highly of each other. However, this does not mean that the two are trying to bring back what they previously had.
Evidence of this is when a day after Chris Pratt and Anna Faris’ stroll with their son, the “Passengers” actor was seen going out with Katherine. So any news about the two trying to rekindle their romance is most likely unfounded.
