Circle launched a managed payments service for software agents and expanded its marketplace, extending a product stack designed to let automated programs find services and make payments.

Separately, Circle rolled out simpler tools that help agents secure funding; they are distinct from Agentic Managed Payments. The update builds on Circle’s Agent Stack, launched in May. It includes wallet permissions and spending limits, listings for paid services and support for small automated payments.

Circle’s Nov. 4 earnings presentation described an agent sector planned for its Arc blockchain. The proposed sector includes identity checks, user mandates and records of agent activity, and Circle said the work was still in progress. Circle’s planned Arc AI-agent sector also appeared in earlier coverage.
