NATICK, Mass., April 05, 2018 -- Boston-based Cradles to Crayons has teamed up with ScrubaDub Auto Wash Centers to launch Clean For Kicks, a new spring cleaning charity program to provide a pair of “kicks” to local kids in need. More than 305,000 Massachusetts children, 12 years old and younger, live in low-income or poverty-stricken households and don’t have shoes that fit. This April, whether you are spring cleaning your closets or your car, Clean for Kicks makes it easy to provide shoes to low-income children in Massachusetts and receive a complimentary gift from ScrubaDub for your support!
It only takes $5 for Cradles to Crayons to provide a new pair of shoes to a needy child.
From April 1 – April 15th, visit any ScrubaDub to donate $5 to Cradles to Crayons OR a gently used pair of kids shoes (adult sizes 1-9) and receive a complimentary UltraShine Hot Wax on your vehicle ($10 value). UltraShine is ScrubaDub's best exclusive shine and wax protection available in any carwash tunnel. If you can't visit a ScrubaDub store, donate online and receive a FREE car wash for every $10 donation. Online donations can be made at http://bit.ly/cleanforkicks or http://bit.ly/cradlescares.
“To celebrate ScrubaDub’s new Brighton facility, we wanted to partner with a local charity who could help us serve kids in need throughout Boston. We were thrilled to learn our Brighton neighbor, Cradles to Crayons, supports children across the entire state of Massachusetts! As a result, we’ve expanded Clean For Kicks to all 18 ScrubaDub New England Tunnel locations. Founded in 1966, ScrubaDub is a third-generation family business committed to giving back to the communities we serve,” said Mathew Paisner, ScrubaDub Director of Business Development. ScrubaDub Massachusetts locations include Dorchester, Roslindale, Brighton, Brookline, Chelsea, Natick, Woburn, Quincy, Marlborough, Shrewsbury, and Worcester.
On Saturday, April 7th and Sunday, April 8th, from 12 -2pm, ScrubaDub’s new Brighton store at 5 Faneuil St, Brighton, MA, will host appearances from the iHeart Radio Street Team and MAGIC 106.7 street team respectively with music, prizes, games and fun to support the cause! One hundred percent of proceeds raised, from Clean For Kicks will support Cradles to Crayons and the kids they serve.
“At Cradles to Crayons, our entire organization is driven by a focused and all-important goal: to make life better for children in need. We’re truly excited about the partnership with ScrubaDub to help us support more kids in need with shoes that fit,” said Susan Adler, Director of Corporate Relations for Cradles to Crayons.
