Coca-Cola launched a new variant for Fanta in India, the Apple Delit while bringing the Fanta Zero Strawberry & Kiwi flavor to the UK market.
The company also appointed Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as its brand ambassador. Aaryan will feature in a new campaign to promote the new Fanta variant.
Aaryan will be seen enjoying Fanta Apple Delit in the most recent commercial, which will air on television networks from 5 March. The actor began his collaboration with the company with this commercial.
A comprehensive marketing campaign will accompany the commercial, which will be supported by a 360-degree marketing effort—both digital and out of home.
This new variety is intended to increase the brand portfolio of Fanta in India.
The new beverage will be available in 250ml, 600ml, and 750ml packages throughout the summer.
According to Tish Condeno, senior director, sparkling flavors, Coca-Cola India and southwest Asia, they forayed into the Apple flavor segment due to the evolving taste and preferences of their consumers.
The new campaign comes ahead of the peak summer season that helps lift sales of beverages. Beverage companies have seen two consecutive summers being disrupted by the two waves of the covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Coca-Cola Co is bringing Fanta Zero Strawberry & Kiwi to the UK market.
UK tourists who had sampled the flavor in Denmark and the US, took to Social Media asking for the flavor to be brought to the UK. According to Coca-Cola, it had been ‘inundated’ with direct messages, social posts, and emails about its availability.
Strawberry & Kiwi joins Fanta’s zero sugar line, with Fanta Raspberry Zero Sugar launching in 2020.
Fanta brand manager Charlotte Walsham said they were overwhelmed by the demand for Fanta Strawberry & Kiwi from their consumers and wanted to show they listen and care about what consumers want.
