Coinbase, a leading bitcoin wallet and exchange company based in San Francisco, has rolled out price alert push notifications on iOS and Android, which will allow users to create bitcoin price alerts and will simplify purchasing and selling bitcoin.
“Improving the Coinbase mobile experience is a core element of our mission to make it easy for people to buy and sell bitcoin globally. It’s now easier than ever for users in 32 countries to buy and sell bitcoin at the right time on mobile”, the company said in a blog post.
Users can create price alerts in their native currency using the price slider. After an alert has been set, users will receive a push notification when the bitcoin price reaches their indicated price. They can easily buy or sell by swiping left on the notification and clicking. To view the price charts, users need to swipe right on the notification.
Moreover, they can create and view or disable and delete the list of alerts that have been pushed to them on the “Price Alerts” page.
“These updates are small steps in making the bitcoin experience more seamless on mobile”, the blog post read.
