WALDORF, Md., Sept. 05, 2017 -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake is now accepting submissions for its annual Calendar Contest. The public is invited to submit original photographs of the local communities within the bank’s service area which includes the Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s Counties and Annapolis in Maryland, as well as, Fredericksburg, Virginia. A total of 13 winners will be selected and will have their winning photographs featured in the Bank’s 2018 calendar. The cover winner will receive a $50 gift card and all other winners will receive a $25 gift card.

“We are pleased to announce the kickoff of our 2018 Calendar Contest,” said Diane Hicks, Vice President and Director of Marketing for Community Bank of the Chesapeake. “The contest is highly anticipated by members of our community, and we look forward to seeing this year’s submissions.”
Photo submissions will be accepted until September 29, 2017. Anyone wishing to enter the contest should email a digital copy of their photo to Stefanie Cusick, Marketing Coordinator, at [email protected]. All photos must be 8.5’’ x 11’’, landscape oriented and a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per image). Each photo submitted must also include a signed release form in order to be considered.
As part of the photo contest, the community will also have the opportunity to vote for a “People’s Choice” winner on the Bank’s Facebook page. The “People’s Choice” voting period will take place from October 2, 2017 to October 9, 2017.
