As of 2:10 p.m. ET (18:10 UTC) Sunday, Oct. 25, Compound (COMP) traded at $20.91, down 10.35% over 24 hours, a steeper loss than in an earlier Sunday snapshot.
That earlier Oct. 25 reading put COMP 7.53% lower over the preceding 24 hours. It recorded a low of $21.33 and a high of $24.99, with $2,401,662.13 in turnover across that window.
Earlier in the week, COMP had climbed. The Defiant reported a 27.3% gain in the 24 hours through 1 p.m. ET Oct. 20, when the token reached $27.38, as recounted in EconoTimes’ earlier coverage of COMP’s Oct. 20 advance.
DefiLlama’s daily data put Compound Finance’s total value locked at $1.5 billion on Oct. 20, down from $1.613 billion on Sept. 30. Total value locked estimates the dollar value of assets deposited in a protocol. Compound’s governance documentation says COMP holders can delegate their votes on proposed protocol changes.
