The South Korean construction industry is using metaverse technology as an option for building and operating expensive real model houses and reaching a wider customer base
Lotte Engineering & Construction Co. rolled out a metaverse model house service in collaboration with property technology firm Zigbang.
This service allows users to control their avatar in a metaverse-based virtual model house, and explore every corner of the house and residential complex.
It provides a 360-degree bird’s eye view and landscape view.
In addition, users also can check time-based changes in the landscape, which looks different by day and night.
Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co. also launched a virtual experience model house service called Meta Gallery using a game engine.
Meanwhile, formed a business agreement with telecom operator KT Corp. to establish a metaverse ecosystem.
