PHOENIX, May 08, 2017 -- CopperPoint Insurance Companies has been named one of the Healthiest Companies in America for 2016 by Interactive Health. The award is given to companies who have improved the overall health of their employees and made it a part of the corporate culture. This is the fourth time CopperPoint has won this award.
CopperPoint is one of only five Arizona companies to receive this award out of 156 companies across the country being recognized for helping employees making changes to improve their health in 2016.
The Healthiest Companies in America recipients are recognized for utilizing wellness initiatives to help over 40 percent of high-risk employees into the low-risk range. Additionally, over 66 percent of employees have made positive health improvements including lowered blood pressure, glucose levels and risk of heart disease.
Employees at CopperPoint have access to a variety of wellness programs, from online walking competitions and on-site weight loss programs to chair massages and in-house gym classes. Employees also can choose from a diverse selection of on-site classes such as yoga, cardio, tai chi, and Zumba.
