MENLO PARK, Calif., Feb. 02, 2017 -- Corium International, Inc. (Nasdaq:CORI), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacture and commercialization of specialty transdermal products, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 6,666,667 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $3.00 per share. Gross proceeds to Corium from this offering are expected to be approximately $20 million. Corium intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for product development and general corporate purposes, which may include funding research and development, increasing its working capital, reducing indebtedness, acquisitions or investments in businesses, products or technologies that are complementary to its own and capital expenditures.
Corium has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,000,000 shares of its common stock offered in the public offering. All of the shares will be offered and sold by Corium.
The offering is expected to close on February 7, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions. Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
