SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 08, 2017 -- Cytokinetics, Incorporated (Nasdaq:CYTK) today announced plans to offer, subject to market and other conditions, $75,000,000 of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. There can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or the actual size or terms of the offering. The company expects to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the number of shares of common stock sold in connection with the offering. All of the shares of common stock in the offering will be sold by Cytokinetics.
