The situation in the Czech labour market is quickly improving. It is most visible in employment growth but it is likely to translate into wage growth as well.
Cranking up wage growth should support rising domestic demand even more as it is likely to be the key driver of this year's GDP growth (Societe Generale forecasts 3.6% GDP growth).
The good shape of the Czech economy was confirmed by all the released data this month, including April's industrial production, construction output and retail sales.
