‘DanMachi’ season 2 episode 1 release date, spoilers: Bell’s party at an 18th-floor bar goes south

After years of waiting, fans are finally able to watch “DanMachi” season 2 episode 1. The series is also known in its English title “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?” had its first season conclusion back in 2015. The second anime series installment was announced after roughly three years and premieres around four years since the season 1 finale.

Prior to “DanMachi” season 2 episode 1, producers have released a special episode that summed up Bell’s adventure in season 1. Considering that it has been four years since season 1 concluded, the special installment is a welcome addition, especially to anime-only fans.
It can be recalled that Bell and his adventure party were on their way to the 18th floor of Orario by the end of season 1. And based on the events from the light novel source material, “DanMachi” season 2 episode 1 will open the series with Bell and his friends settling in at the 18th floor.
The Hostess of Fertility is one of the places Bell would likely visit in “DanMachi” season 2 episode 1. He goes to thank the waitress Syr for her help because Bell’s first task upon arriving at the 18th floor is to thank everyone who helped his adventure. Once he is done with this, he goes one a well-deserved party with Lili and Welf. They have a couple of things to celebrate, including successfully defeating Goliath and Welf’s promotion.
For a proper celebration party, Bell declines Syr’s offer to do it at the Hostess of Fertility and chooses to go to another bar called Hibachitei. Unfortunately, what is supposed to be a fun time will break out into a fight.

Unfortunately, Bell’s attempt to have a fun party is spoiled by the presence of Luan and Hyakinthos of the Apollo Familia in “DanMachi” season 2 episode 1. Upon seeing Bell, the two starts insulting the Hestia Familia where Bell belongs. It will not take that long before Bell retaliates and a fight breaks out. Bell and Lili end up getting injured from the brawl.

Hestia will take the news of the fight fairly well. Of course, she will be disappointed that they got into trouble but appreciates the fact that it happened because Bell wanted to defend the reputation and honor of their group. “DanMachi” season 2 episode 1 is slated to air on Friday, July 12.
