New Data Services business leverages the unique analytics capabilities of the Decisiv Service Relationship Management platform
Rob Bradenham joins Decisiv as VP Data Services to spearhead development of new Data Services business solutions
GLEN ALLEN, Va. and ORLANDO, Oct. 23, 2017 -- Decisiv, Inc., the leading provider of a Service Relationship Management (SRM) software platform for commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, and industrial asset service management, announced today at the American Trucking Associations Management Conference & Exhibition a new Data Services business focused on leveraging the unique capability of the Decisiv platform to bring together data from all aspects of a commercial asset throughout its lifecycle.
“Decisiv’s new Data Services business will help our commercial vehicle and heavy equipment fleet operator, OEM and service provider customers more effectively use data and analytics to optimize their businesses and realize a sustainable competitive advantage in their markets,” said Dick Hyatt, President and CEO of Decisiv. “Data and analytics capabilities, combined with cloud computing and Industrial Internet of Things (IIot) technologies, are the strategic weapons that empower users across a range of disciplines with actionable insights.”
Commercial assets and service supply ecosystems are undergoing enormous change, Hyatt noted. “Decisiv is launching a Data Services business to use its vast repository of commercial asset data and its platform’s proven communication and collaboration capabilities to enable real time visibility, tracking and reporting that leads to better, faster, smarter decisions throughout the service value chain,” he added. “Data produced at every step of the service supply chain by multiple parties needs to be analyzed and fed back into the system so service events are done in a smarter, faster, less expensive way.”
Joining Decisiv to lead its new Data Services business is Rob Bradenham. As VP Data Services he will focus on the development of offerings that fully utilize the advanced closed loop and fully integrated data capabilities of the Decisiv SRM platform.
“Decisiv brings together data from different sources in a way no other company can,” Bradenham stated. “The base of data from commercial assets and from people involved in service events is growing. The analytics capabilities that our new Data Services business will provide can serve as a standard for the industry and ultimately improve service event time, technician and service provider performance, and the lifetime value of assets.”
Bradenham comes to Decisiv with significant experience in technology and operations in the industrial and high-tech industries. At Caterpillar, he led efforts to help owners and operators increase the ROI in their assets by using data analytics and expert advisory services to make better maintenance and operations decisions. Bradenham also led the growth of Engineering Software Reliability Group (ESRG), which was acquired by Caterpillar, where he was focused on bringing Big Data analytics to industries in order to enable Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) through smart remote monitoring, prognostics and predictive diagnostics.
Additionally, at McKinsey & Company, Bradenham advised clients in industrial and high-tech spaces with heavy asset bases on getting more out of their assets through operations and maintenance improvement. He is also a former U.S. Navy officer who served in leadership roles, including managing teams of technicians in the operations, maintenance and repair of various industrial and weapons systems.
