“Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 194 will likely feature a battle of attrition between Tanjiro and Muzan. While the slayer already started connecting all the twelve forms to execute the 13th, he barely has enough strength left to last until dawn. Meanwhile, Muzan is starting to realize that the medicine concocted by Tamayo and delivered by her cat is having some bizarre effects on him.
‘Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 193 recap
As Muzan and Tanjiro started fighting, the demon noticed that his opponent has actually activated the red blade technique without relying on his sister. “Living creature that close in on the threshold of death become much stronger than before,” Muzan thought as he observed Tanjiro.
However, he wasn’t worried at all because he knew that Tanjiro won’t be able to keep up with his increased level of fighting. After all, Tanjiro is much weaker compared to Yoriichi who defeated the demon a long time ago. “Compared to that man, his strikes are not even close to the same level,” the demon silently made a comparison between the two.
Even Tanjiro himself is starting to doubt if he can last for long. Inwardly, he started complaining about his lungs feeling like they’ve been struck, his heart feels like it’s going to burst while his limbs became so painful that they feel like they’re being torn off. Clearly, Tanjiro is at the end of his rope and it’s not likely to drastically improve in the coming “Demon Slayer” chapter 194.
Muzan is starting to feel that Tanjiro’s technique is starting to deteriorate as his attacks were no longer as accurate as before. But the funny thing is that the demon was still unable to defeat the worn-out Tanjiro which got him suspicious.
The demon suddenly realized that his movement is slowing down as well. Asking Tamayo’s cells that he absorbed, he soon learned that the medicine fired from the cat is actually making his cells age faster at a rate of 50 years a minute. Making a quick calculation, it meant that he actually aged 9,000 years in the three hours since he was injected with the medicine.
‘Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba’ chapter 194
Just as Muzan realized what the medicine’s effect was on him, Tanjiro finally connected all the twelve forms. “They connected!” Tanjiro said. “The faster, the more accurate.”
Tanjiro is expected to continue attacking Muzan with the twelve-form combination in “Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 194. “I’ll repeat it, this cycle of twelve until the sun rises,” Tanjiro said.
However, it is still uncertain if he has enough energy for the task. He is already injured to the point that a portion of his brain seems to be sticking out of his right eye socket. Muzan, on the other hand, is more or less in the same boat as Tanjiro. With his cells aging 50 years a minute, will he even last until dawn or will all of his cells rot of old age before the sun rises?
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 194 will be released on Feb. 17. Stay tuned for more updates.
