“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 196 could prove to be pivotal in the fight between Tanjiro and Muzan. While the drastically weakened demon might mean that Tanjiro will have a good chance of surviving the ordeal, the arrival of Nezuko on the battlefield introduces a certain degree of uncertainty into the mix.
How Nezuko might help Tanjiro win the battle
Muzan definitely lived up to his reputation as the strongest demon. Despite all of the Pillars working together to take him down coupled with Tamayo’s insane medicine weakening him greatly, the demon survived up to this point and won’t go down without a fight in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 196.
Nezuko’s arrival might just be what Tanjiro needs to defeat Muzan. Nezuko could augment Tanjiro’s fire sword attacks as she could use her demon arts to increase the strength of a Nichirin blade.
But there’s a potential problem with this theory. As seen in the previous “Demon Slayer” manga chapter, Nezuko seems to be in the verge of turning back into human. If this is the case, will she still be able to help Tanjiro in his battle against Muzan?
How Nezuko’s arrival could benefit Muzan
Another possibility that might happen in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 196 is that Nezuko’s arrival might end up benefitting Muzan instead of Tanjiro. When fighting against the demon, Tanjiro and Iguro have always thought of engaging Muzan until dawn.
The thinking is that they can only defeat Muzan when the sun comes up, which explains why everyone is mindful of the time and how many minutes to go before the arrival of dawn. One can only imagine what will happen if Muzan does not have this weakness against the sun. It practically means that he is invincible even in the daytime.
But with Nezuko’s arrival, Muzan now has a way of eliminating his weakness. He can just absorb Nezuko’s day walking ability in “Demon Slayer” 196 and it wouldn’t matter to him anymore if its night or day.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 196 will be released on March 2, 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
