“Dr. Stone” Episode 5 will be addressing the cliffhanger that the previous release left behind. Tsukasa has killed Senku. Or at least, that’s what it appears to be.
It’s obvious that the scientific genius isn’t dead and “Dr. Stone” Episode 5 will not be killing him since that wouldn’t make any sense. The question is, how did he survive?
Simple: petrification. Or more specifically, what’s left of the petrified part of Senku, which is, as you may have guessed, is located on his nape. First, “Dr. Stone” Episode 5 will have Taiju and Yuzu take Senku away from Tsukasa by using the gun power they’ve been cooking earlier.
Dr. Stone Episode 5: Escaping Tsukasa
Taiju is no match for Tsukasa that’s why he’ll resort to distractions instead. In “Dr. Stone” Episode 5, Taiju will hurl a rock up in the air, catching Tsukasa’s attention. Yuzu will then scatter a bunch of gun power on the ground so that when the heavy stone drops down, the impact will create an explosion that would provide enough distraction for our main protagonists to escape, Otakukart reported.
Safe from Tsukasa’s murderous hands, Yuzu and Taiju will then try to revive Senku. Yuzu will notice the whiz kid’s previous peculiar behavior and how he deliberately wanted Tsukasa to strike him on the nape. The reason is that his nape is still partially petrified, providing some protection to the blow that would’ve otherwise killed him. But before Senku could wake up in “Dr. Stone” Episode 5, expect more flashbacks in the upcoming entry.
Dr. Stone Episode 5 and Senku’s early days in the Stone World
It will portray Senku’s early days of being de-petrified, with most of his efforts geared towards survival and acquiring the tools he needs to bring civilization back. Following that, he’ll be digging Taiju up from where he was buried, while simultaneously racking his brain what caused the global petrification to take place. Alien attacks, advance military weapons, and a new strain of the virus will all be considered and thrown out. “Dr. Stone” Episode 5 will probably end when Senku got frustrated in trying to revive Taiju and the scene transitioning to the present where Senku becomes conscious.
Suffice to say that the two will be elated to see him, with Yuzu teary-eyed that Senku isn’t gone after all. As for the release date of “Dr. Stone” Episode 5, it’s scheduled to come out today, Aug. 2.
