The official air date and synopsis for “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 have been revealed. The next installment will be released in early September and will feature the Potara Earring Fusion form of Goku and Vegeta in their continuing battle against Cumber.
In the previous episode, fans saw the battle with Cumber unfold. And the protagonists will continue their mighty attempts to stop the evil Saiyan in “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3.
With an enemy as strong as Cumber, Goku and Vegeta will have to bring on their best game as well. So, in order to match Cumber’s powers, the “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 official synopsis (via @Herms98 on Twitter) confirms that Goku and Vegeta will perform the Potara Earring Fusion.

Fans of the “Dragon Ball” franchise could already be familiar with what this particular fusion will bring. This means that Cumber will be up against Vegito in “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3.
Before the events in “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 unfold, fans may recall that Cumber has taken Trunks hostage. So Vegito is expected to not take it easy on the evil Saiyan. Apart from this, the episode’s official synopsis also confirms that Vegito will be using the Kaio-Ken.
Vegito and the use of Kaio-Ken just make “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 even more exciting to watch. OtakukArt notes that this is going to be the first time Vegito will be seen using this powerful technique. This also means that Cumber is definitely testing the protagonists’ powers, forcing them to use all the techniques and power they have.
However, on the other hand, Cumber does not seem to be an easy opponent to deal with — even with Vegito using the Kaio-Ken. According to the “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 synopsis, Cumber has another, much more powerful form to unleash after Vegito uses the Kaio-Ken on him.
The biggest mystery in “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 is the new form that Cumber will unveil. Reports do not seem to have any clue about what power it may hold, but it is certainly something that is of equal strength to Vegito, if not greater.
Fans will still have to wait a while before they get to learn about Cumber’s newest form. “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 3 is expected to be released on Saturday, Sept. 1.
