“Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48 has been slated to drop on May 20 and fans can’t wait for the upcoming release. The anticipation isn’t surprising given that the Galactic Prison Arc has now pitted Moro against Boo, VIZ portrayed.
At the moment, Moro is at a disadvantage as he still doesn’t know the full extent of the plump hero’s powers. And speaking of Boo’s capabilities, “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48 will probably feature new abilities for the character as his memories have been successfully restored by the Galactic Patrol.
The question now becomes: is Boo powerful enough to stop Moro even with him being able to access the memories of the great Lord of Lords? That’s still uncertain for now, especially since Daikaioshin used up most of his powers just to seal Moro millions of years ago. As such, it’s likely that “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48 will have the odds favoring Moro once more.
Although Boo is doing a good job of manhandling the goat-like antagonist, Moro’s capabilities haven’t been fully unleashed either. There’s also the fact Piccolo hasn’t joined the fray yet. It’s already been revealed that the green warrior is aware that something bad is happening in New Namek. With his own people dying in the hands of Moro, there’s a high chance that Piccolo will lend a hand in “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48.
Of course, Piccolo’s powers pale in comparison when pitted against Moro, so he’ll probably get an energy boost somewhere in this arc. This increase in power will presumably come in the form of the assimilation technique mentioned previously. If this occurs in “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48, it would undoubtedly hype the fan base further as it’s been a long time since Piccolo’s power level has been bumped. Aside from the titular Namek, Bulma and Mr. Satan are also expected to make their way into New Namek as well. With all these powers accumulating on the planet, it’s looking like another Frieza incident is about to take place.
