The fact is a 2020 launch is still not set in stone. While the fans working on the game are promising the same quality as an actual video game studio, they wanted to remind gamers that they are not full-time developers and coders.

“This is a volunteer project that doesn't run at the speed of a real game studio,” the “Elder Scrolls: Skyblivion” developer reiterated. Additionally, the SkyblivionDee reminded people that issues could arise along with the development of the game that can, later on, affect their work timeframe.

“Something as important as quests is moving at a slower pace than departments like landscaping and 3D,” SkyblivionDee added.
