‘Elementary’ season 5’s episode 11, titled “Be My Guest,” is set to follow Holmes and Watson as they race against time to hunt down a kidnapper. Meanwhile, Shinwell’s refusal to focus on his informant training will make things difficult for Watson.
The synopsis for “Be My Guest” posted on TV Guide reads, “Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) race to find a woman who has been held captive for years before the kidnapper takes drastic steps to avoid being caught. Meanwhile, Joan becomes frustrated when Shinwell (Nelsan Ellis) refuses to focus on his informant training.”
The incoming episode will follow Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Joan Watson as they attempt to hunt down a suspect holding a woman captive for years. The photographs posted on Spoilers Guide showed the two looking quite somber in their investigation. In one image, Holmes and Watson appear to be searching someone’s home as they discuss something with the police.
Meanwhile, Watson continues to help Shinwell by pushing him to be in a better place than he was before but it seems that her efforts will only get her frustrated after he refuses to get serious with his informant training.
In the preceding episode, titled “Pick Your Poison,” Holmes expressed his anger when he found out that Shinwell was still connected to his old gang SBK to act as an undercover informant for the authorities. Shinwell agreed to the task to make amends for his crimes committed in the past.
Watson, however, thinks that Shinwell’s role as a secret informant will help him straighten out his life and is adamant in helping him get back on track despite the difficulties.
‘Elementary’ season 5’s episode 11, titled “Be My Guest,” is scheduled to air on CBS on January 8, 2017. It was directed by Maja Vrvilo and written by Jason Tracey. It will be followed by episode 12, titled "Crowned Clown, Downtown Brown," scheduled for January 15.
