‘Elementary’ season 5’s episode 20, titled “The Art of Sleights and Deception," will follow Sherlock and Watson as they investigate the death of a magician following his performance of a classic stunt. Sherlock and Watson suspect that there may have been foul play involved in the possible murder.
The synopsis for “The Art of Sleights and Deception” posted on TV Guide reads, “A magician is killed while performing a classic stunt, triggering an investigation by Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu).

The upcoming episode will feature Sherlock and Watson teaming up to solve the case of a magician’s death. The two will suspect that Claude Rysher’s (Ryan Oakes) death following the performance of a classic stunt may have been a deliberate act of murder and not a mere accident.

He then reveals that that he stayed in the “Abyss” in order to find Claude’s killer. He said, “…And the abyss told me who killed Claude Rysher.” It is unclear what Sherlock means about the “Abyss.”
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will also follow Bell as he finds himself in the middle of an investigation conducted by the Internal Affairs after he is falsely accused. Watson suspects that the man behind the allegations is Chantal’s (Chasten Harmon) ex-husband, Roy Booker (Robert Christopher Riley).
