Fans of the high school-themed drama want “Elite” season 3 now. They are impatient, although the second installment just ended a few months ago. They can’t wait because the turn of events made them anticipate the next scenes.
The good thing is that the drama got a really early renewal, so filming was completed really fast. Netflix renewed “Elite” season 3 while the second season was still airing. Although this is not unusual, it clearly indicates that the drama is highly successful.
The renewal announcement and filming details
“Elite” season 3 immediately went into production as soon as it was confirmed, and before long, actress Ester Expósito who plays Carla revealed that they are already done with filming. This means that when the second season was released, they are already at work for the next episodes.
Expósito also shared in October last year that “Elite” season 3 will arrive with new cast members. Through a short video clip, she showed Sergio Momo and Leiti Sene in uniforms, so there is no question that they will be joining the cast as new students in Las Encinas exclusive school.
Then again, it was not divulged what their exact roles will be. They are students, but will they be villains or good students.
Plot - What will happen in the third installment?
“Elite” season 3 will not try something out of the ordinary, but just like the other series out there, it will pick up from where the finale of the previous season left off. In this drama, it will continue with the ending scenes of “0 Hours Missing” episode. Based on its plot summary, they found out that Samuel was only hiding in Guzman’s grandparents’ home, and he is not missing. He did this in his desire to make Carla confess about Marina‘s murderer.
Polo was also arrested, but he was able to get back to the community just after two weeks, and “Elite” season 3 will pick up from this point. The other students want justice for Marina, but Polo is running free, so there would be lots of conflicts and tensions here.
“Elite” season 3 has been scheduled to be released in March 2020. Netflix confirmed this on Jan. 8 by posting its video teaser.
