Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are reportedly finally having a baby after settling for an IVF treatment. The couple has been married for 10 years now and they are said to be excited about becoming first-time parents.
According to OK! magazine (via Gossip Cop), Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are already telling their friends about the good news. Supposedly, the couple told their pals, “We’re going to be moms!”
A tipster also told the magazine, “After talking about babies for the longest time, they finally went the IVF route with the help of a male donor, and are happily telling friends.”
The source went on to say that Ellen DeGeneres wants the identity of their donor to remain a secret however, some of her friends are speculating that a famous comedian may possible be their donor. “Portia wants to go through the whole pregnancy process, so they’re using her eggs, which they previously had frozen. Ellen’s totally fine with it,” the source added. “She likes to joke that if the baby is going to look like one of them, she wants it to be Portia!”
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are said to be really excited about their new journey of becoming parents at last. However, Gossip Cop is contradicting the report because the paper was able to get in touch with someone close to the “Ellen DeGeneres” show host and they were told that the news was fabricated.
In fact, the truth is Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are not keen on having kids of their own. The couple revealed this information already and not just once but many times before. In her previous interview with Daily Telegraph, Elle said,
“We talked about it for a minute, about four years into the relationship, but we just decided we like our conversations not being interrupted and our furniture without sticky grape juice on it.”
