Fallout fans are now rejoicing as Fallout 76’s new beta trailer has been released. The short video introduces fans to an alternate version of history and a post-apocalyptic world.
Apparently, Fallout 76 is getting ready to launch its beta and it wants fans to give some glimpse of the upcoming game. The beta trailer takes fans into a cinematic feel to mark the occasion. In the video, the narrator mentions protecting democracy.
Fallout 76 beta trailer also reveals the release date for the beta launch, which is set for Oct. 23 on Xbox One, with PlayStation 4 and PC to follow a week later, while the launching date is set for Nov. 14. According to The Verge, the beta version is only available to those who preorder the game.
What to expect on Fallout 76' Beta
Players will get access to the full game. The good news is, players' progress will be carried over into the launch, and Bethesda plans to achieve it. The download size will be around 45GB. Pre-loading will not be available, but for those on PC, they won’t need to redownload the full game at launch, according to a source.
The story is set in 2102 and apparently, the direction of the story is satirical. With the short video, it shows the game is set in Cold War in West Virginia just 25 years after a nuclear war devastated the planet, and it is accompanied historical events like the Cuban missile crisis. You may notice a dark tone in Fallout 76 beta trailer. Apart from that, the video hints a post-apocalyptic world.
“While players ultimately will experience unique adventures, stories, and exciting moments along their Fallout 76 journey, they’ll all begin the same: within the safe confines of Vault 76 on Reclamation Day,” Bethesda said.
