The joint investigation of Company 2 and Company 8 into the Nether will kick off in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 20, and the threats that their enemies have in place will manifest immediately. This is also the point where Juggernaut is going to awaken his real power, but not before Hajiki faces real danger.
‘Fire Force’ season 2 episode 20 spoilers, official preview
It can be recalled that teams of Company 2 are accompanied by at least one member of Company 8 since they have the first-hand experience in the Nether. Because of the Nether’s structure, all teams are going to investigate their designated areas simultaneously. That also means the fire brigade forces are going into the Nether in smaller teams, thus increasing the level of danger they will face in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 20.
Anyone who has read the manga and has seen the official preview of “Fire Force” season 2 episode 20 will recognize that this installment will highlight a major character development for Takeru Noto, aka Juggernaut. He is in a team led by his best friend Hajiki and Company 8’s Tamaki Kotatsu.
Like the other teams, Hajiki’s group will face a swarm of Infernals as soon as they start their investigations. But, thanks to his ability, he will singlehandedly kill all the Infernals since he can see through walls by scanning thermal signals. However, they will soon face Orochi of the White Clad’s Knight of the Purple Smoke faction in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 20 and she will almost instantly cut off Hajiki’s head.
The scene naturally sends Juggernaut in extreme shock forcing Kotatsu to jump into action against Orochi. The enemy overpowers Kotatsu, but Orochi will not kill her easily because of her ability to practically absorb Orochi’s attacks. But she will still be subjected to real danger and seeing it will force Juggernaut to awaken his full potential that includes transforming his limbs into destructive weapons.
‘Fire Force’ season 2 episode 20 release date, where to watch
The “Fire Force” season 2 episode 20 official preview also hints at showing other Company 8 members springing into action. Orochi’s appearance also suggests the anime is going to introduce other scary factions serving for the Evangelist.
The episode will be released in Japan on Saturday, Nov. 14. Fans around the world can watch “Fire Force” season 2 episode 20 through simulcast streams via AnimeLab, Crunchyroll, Funimation, and VRV.
