ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 05, 2017 -- Representatives of United for Human Rights (UHR), a group supported by the Church of Scientology, shared their materials on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) with the over 700 attendees of the annual Florida Human Trafficking Summit at the Rosen Center Hotel in Orlando. The event was hosted by Attorney General Pam Bondi who discussed solutions to the growing problem of human trafficking in Florida.
United for Human Rights
United for Human Rights is the world's largest nongovernmental human rights education campaign, active in 192 countries and partnering with 1,500 groups and organizations. Working in tandem with its affiliated, Youth for Human Rights group, and supported by The International Association of Scientologists, its purpose is to raise awareness and implementation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its 30 articles through its award-winning Story of Human Rights documentary, 30 Rights/PSAs and the What are Human Rights? booklets. The organizations agree with the declaration made by humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, “Human Rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream.”
