When the current manga arc will end is still unknown, but fans know that all these developments are very likely leading to an epic cooking battle between Soma and Asahi Saiba. Given the latest events, it is also possible that readers will see more interaction between these rivals in “Shokugeki no Soma” chapter 304.
The most recent manga chapters are giving Soma more reasons to be motivated in defeating Asahi. The things that recently happened in this arc are mostly related to Erina. However, it would also make sense if Soma gets involved and “Shokugeki no Soma” chapter 304 might building up to this.
Asahi is still obsessing about marrying Erina and she obviously does not plan on making it happen. However, it was also revealed that Erina's secret wish is to cook a dish that is great enough to convince her mother, Mana, to eat food again.
