JINHUA, China, April 04, 2017 -- Kandi Technologies Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "Kandi") (NASDAQ:KNDI) today announced that the Geely Global Hawk electric vehicle (“EV”) model SMA7000BEV05 (the Kandi Model K12), SMA7000BEV06(the Kandi Model K10D), and SMA7000BEV07(the Kandi Model K12A) developed by Kandi Electric Vehicles Group Co., Ltd. (the "JV Company”, a 50/50 joint venture between Kandi and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group) have been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China’s (the “MIIT”) Directory of Recommended Models for Energy Saving and New Energy Vehicle Demonstration and Promotion (the “Third Annual Directory of New Energy Vehicles”) as the new vehicle models in the MIIT’s third public announcement of 2017. In addition, the Geely Global Hawk EV model SMA7000BEV25 (the Kandi Model K17A) has been included in the MIIT’s Third Annual Directory of New Energy Vehicles as the modified vehicle model.
