Four new funds on SGX give Singapore investors another route into overseas shares, including U.S. technology companies and blue-chip firms in global markets, The Straits Times reported.

The newspaper framed the offering around investors whose portfolios lean heavily on domestic blue-chip shares and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Its account cited Singtel, UOB, DBS Bank and OCBC Bank as examples of local holdings and presented the funds as an additional way to reach companies outside Singapore.
