Full Body Rejuvenation Center's Dr. Nailah Smith Donates $2,500 to the 6th Annual Back to School Bash & Health Initiative

LITHONIA, Ga., July 31, 2017 -- Full Body Rejuvenation Center, an Atlanta-area chiropractor, participated in the 6th Annual Back to School Bash & Health Initiative. This event supported the students of DeKalb County by providing free backpacks and school supplies to underprivileged communities. Attendees heard presentations on a variety of today's most urgent health issues. Dr. Nailah Smith of Full Body Rejuvenation Center donated $2,500 to the Initiative's efforts.

The 6^th Annual Back to School Bash & Health Initiative was held at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center in Decatur, GA. It took place on July 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

For the last six years, the Back to School Bash & Health Initiative has helped underprivileged students by providing free backpacks and school supplies. With the proper supplies, students are better able to keep up in their classes and with homework. Since the event was held in late July, the organization now has time to collect and distribute the necessary materials to students before they return to school.

The health initiative aspect of the event is what attendees experienced. There were presentations on cancer, mental health, HIV, and sex trafficking. This will help attendees avoid problems in these areas, learn what modern treatments entail, and more. Attendance required a donation to help this health initiative with its goal of providing school supplies to 5,000 children.

"While the presentations focused on many of today's crucial health problems and concerns, it's important to remember to take care of other issues as well. We believe that children and teens should get chiropractic examinations on a regular basis to ensure that their spines are developing properly and to spot any other skeletal issues that may be coming about. If any problems are found, we then treat them so that the children avoid further distress and future issues," said Dr. Nailah Smith of Full Body Rejuvenation Center.
