“Fuller House” Season 5 will be the last installment for the family-oriented sitcom and big things are expected from its storyline. The most anticipated of which is a possible three-way wedding event that could serve as the finale for the last installment.
With Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) now engaged, it’s safe to assume that the showrunners are planning something big for the couple. And what could be bigger than tying the knot in “Fuller House” Season 5?
DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger) could get a similar treatment since their relationship is as solid as ever. Kimmy (Andrea Barber and Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace) are also in the same boat as well. So what are the chances of this multiple wedding scenario happening in “Fuller House” Season 5?
It’s difficult to tell at the moment as production is still in its early stages and nothing substantial has surfaced from the set. However, Bure said that there’s definitely going to be a wedding in the final entry although she didn’t disclose which couple is going to walk down the aisle. Most of the story revolving around the show is still centered on Lori Loughlin and the college admission scandal that made headlines a few months ago. Netflix has confirmed that Aunt Becky – Loughlin’s character – will not be appearing in “Fuller House” Season 5 with Hallmark cutting ties with the actress following the massive revelation, Vulture reported.
Meanwhile, it appears that the production phase of the next installment is going swimmingly as has been revealed by Bure, E! reported. After the first episode of “Fuller House” Season 5 wrapped up filming last week, the actress said that the storyline packed emotional and hilarious moments. She also said that the last entry would leave fans satisfied with how the plot will conclude as they’re giving everything they have to give the show the ending it deserves.
With regards to the release date of “Fuller House” Season 5, nothing has been confirmed just yet. But speculations would have it that it will come out in the fall, perhaps during the month of December, as has been hinted by Bure herself in her previous Instagram stories, GH reported.
