Central Banks:

• Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will announce rate decision on Tuesday.
• Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) will announce monetary policy decision on Wednesday.
• Bank of Japan (BoJ) will release minutes of the meeting on Tuesday.

Economic data:

• China trade balance report to be released on Wednesday, and CPI inflation report on Thursday.
• U.S. PPI inflation report to be released on Thursday, and CPI inflation report on Friday.
• UK GDP report to be released on Friday.
• Canada will release the unemployment report on Friday.

Geopolitics:

• India to hold the fifth phase of General election on May 6th.
• Chinese Vice Premier Liu He was supposed to visit the U.S. to continue trade talks this week but the trip has been postponed after President Trump announced that Chinese goods worth $200 billion would face 25 percent tariff from this Friday, instead of 10 percent.
• To garner support, Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif will visit Russia and meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and foreign minister Serge Lavrov.
