FxWirePro: Asian markets mixed, gold slips below $1,200 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Tuesday. Gold was trading around $1,193 mark while silver was trading around $15.02 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 1.98 pct higher at 22,292.50 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.72 pct higher at 6,297.85 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 2,780.74 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,386.48 points.

Taiwan stocks close up 0.7 pct at 10,824.23 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.31 pct lower at 27,570.55 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.42 percent higher at 11,402.22 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.37 points higher at 37,783.82 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.45 percent higher at 2,258.94 points.
