FxWirePro: Asian markets slightly up, gold hovers around $1,200

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1.203 mark while silver was trading around $14.73 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.43 pct higher at 22,912.50 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.41 pct higher at 6,330.85 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 2,774.86 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,393.05 points.

Taiwan stocks close was trading around 0.75 pct higher at 11,071.55 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.18 pct higher at 28,402.55 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.22 pct higher at 2,315.68 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.05 percent higher at 11,744.22 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.08 points higher at 38,928.82 points.
