FxWirePro: GBP/NZD sell bias remains below key resistance zone

• GBP/NZD  slipped lower on Friday  as investors assessed ongoing geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East

• Focus remained on the U.S.-Iran conflict and efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Crude oil prices climbed on Friday as renewed tanker attacks and escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran raised concerns over potential supply disruptions...

• Thursday’s data showed that the British economy grew 0.3% in June, beating expectations and reinforcing its position as the fastest-growing G7 economy in the first half of 2026..

• The pound’s next major domestic catalysts will be the UK’s inflation and labour-market data due next week, which could influence expectations for the Bank of England’s monetary policy

• Immediate resistance is located at 2.3095(Higher BB), any close above will push the pair towards 2.3189(61.8%fib).

• Immediate support is seen at 2.2950(50%fib) and break below could take the pair towards 2.2821(Lower BB).

Recommendation: Good to sell around 2.3000 , with stop loss of 2.3100 and target price of 2.2900
